Aida Olvera-Dyckes, BS, CHT, MS, CLT, NDT

Aida (Ida) joins Plymouth Physical Therapy to focus on hand therapy in the Milan area.

She is an Occupational Therapist with almost 30 years experience. She is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science with a concentration in Occupational Therapy. Later Aida returned to Eastern Michigan University and complete her Maters degree of science in prosthetics and orthotics. Currently enrolled at Concordia University where she is working on her Occupational Therapy (OT Doctorate) In Hand and upper extremity rehabilitation.

Aida has worked the last 26 years primarily in hand therapy. She traveled to many different states where she gained experience with pediatrics, Neurologic stroke patients, inpatient and outpatient orthopedic patients, and worker compensation.

Amy Millioni, OTR/L, BS, CHT

Amy was born and raised in Garden City, Michigan and is proud to contribute to the workforce of her home town for over 10 years. She graduated from Western Michigan University in 2005 with a bachelor’s of science degree in Occupational Therapy.

Amy knew from her first fieldwork placement in hand therapy that she wanted to dedicate her career to helping those with hand injuries. She then obtained her credential as a certified hand therapist in 2011, which signifies her expertise in the rehabilitation of the hand and upper quarter.

Amy has practiced extensively in outpatient rehabilitation, restoring upper extremity function to orthopedic and neurologic conditions. She attends annual continuing education conferences which place emphasis on the most current evidence based practices for post surgical and conservative approaches to rehabilitation, including custom splinting and kinesio taping. She believes in educating her patients to understand their injury completely and providing them with the tools necessary to maximize their potential for recovery.

Byrony Derose, OTR/L, BS, CHT

Bryony is an Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist with over 12 years of experience in hand and upper extremity treatment. Bryony graduated with honors from Western Michigan University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy. 

In 2008, she earned the Certified Hand Therapist distinction upon successful completion of the Hand Therapy Certification Commission examination. Bryony’s experience lies in outpatient facilities and hospital settings. She also has experience working at a level 1 trauma hospital on a burn unit. Bryony’s interests include distal radius fractures, digital amputations, and patient education.

Carolyn White OTR/L, MS, CHT

Carolyn is a graduate from Eastern Michigan University. After working with adult and pediatric patients for several years, she completed a professional residency in Phoenix, AZ specializing in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation. She became certified by the Hand Therapy Certification Commission in 1999 and has specialized in hand therapy ever since. Carolyn presently teaches at Baker College and maintains her professional expertise through continuing education courses.

Catherine Faoro, OTR/L, BS, CHT

Katie is an Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist with 28 years of experience in hand and upper extremity treatment. She is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University receiving a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. She also has an Associates degree in Gerontology and a Certified Activities Therapist from Madonna University.

Katie stays current with the latest techniques in her area of specialization by frequently attending continuing education courses, reading professional literature, and networking with other hand specialists. She has provided treatment for patients in a variety of settings including physician offices, hospitals, outpatient clinics and long term care facilities. She has been a department supervisor, quality assurance coordinator, and a clinical educator.

Katie has received awards for her efforts in teaching students and is a mentor to fellow clinicians. Her main goal in patient care is education. She works closely with her patients to provide patient education regarding their diagnosis and providing them with detailed home exercise programs.
