What is BFR?

BFR uses Airbands® leg cuffs to partially restrict blood flow to a limb during low-load exercise. This creates a powerful training effect with less stress on healing tissues and joints.

By allowing arterial blood flow (oxygen-rich blood in) while restricting venous outflow (blood flow out), BFR creates a metabolic environment that promotes muscle growth and healing — all with significantly less mechanical load than traditional strength training.
