Commerce Center Director
Nicole Ramos, PT, DPT, Cert. MDT, FAFS is a Northeastern University alumna, hailing from Boston, Massachusetts. Despite her time spent in Boston for four years, she eventually returned to her hometown in Michigan. Nicole completed her undergraduate studies at Michigan State University in 2004, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on genetics. Nicole has actively participated in numerous continuing education conferences, specializing in orthopedic and sports-related injuries.
Nicole holds certification in Mechanical Diagnosis Therapy (MDT), commonly known as the McKenzie method, and has actively pursued advanced training from renowned experts in the field like Gary Gray. In 2017, she completed a year-long fellowship to become a Fellow of Applied Functional Science (FAFS), utilizing functional movement analysis principles to facilitate patients’ return to daily activities, sports, and an active lifestyle across all age groups. Nicole is currently expanding her expertise by pursuing credentials in Functional Golf Systems.
During her leisure time, Nicole indulges in activities such as running, training for events and local races. She enjoys reading, traveling, tennis, volleyball, golf, and taking care of her three children. Nicole is also dedicated to becoming fluent in Portuguese and eagerly shares captivating stories of her time in Brazil.
