Milford Center Director
Shawn Grant, PT, MS, OCS, FAFS, Cert. MDT is a highly skilled physical therapist and a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. He has been an invaluable member of Plymouth Physical Therapy Specialists since 2004, providing dedicated care to the Walled Lake community. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Shawn serves as the clinic director for the Wixom/Walled Lake and Milford Centers, showcasing his leadership abilities.
With a wealth of training and experience, Shawn possesses a remarkable ability to accurately diagnose orthopedic injuries and develop customized treatment plans for his patients. He is well-versed in Applied Functional Science, an innovative approach that optimizes functional movements to enhance patient outcomes.
Shawn’s professional interests center around the rehabilitation of throwing athletes, addressing spine and pelvis dysfunctions, and guiding individuals through post-tendon/ligament reconstruction. He is a proud graduate of Alma College, where he excelled as a two-sport athlete. He further honed his expertise by earning a degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Indianapolis.
Outside of his professional commitments, Shawn finds fulfillment in his family life with his wife Michelle and their three boys. Together, they share a deep passion for sports and fitness, creating a well-rounded and active lifestyle.
