Saline Center Director
Katie Pakkala, PT, DPT, FAFS
Katelynn Pakkala, PT, DPT was born and raised in New Hudson, MI. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Adrian College, Adrian, MI where she was a part of the college band, women’s bowling team, and a part of a sorority. Katie received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Grand Valley State University, Grand Rapids, MI. Katie completed a year-long fellowship to become a Fellow of Applied Functional Science (FAFS), utilizing functional movement analysis principles to facilitate patients’ return to daily activities, sports, and an active lifestyle across all age groups.
Katie has always had an interest in the outpatient orthopedic rehab setting with being an athlete her entire life. Katie believes in treating each patient as an individual, not as another diagnosis.
Katie’s interest in Physical Therapy started when she had to complete rehab on her lower back, ankles, and neck through high school and college sports. Her therapy was completed at Plymouth Physical Therapy Specialists. During her therapy, she decided that becoming a Physical Therapist was the career she wanted.
In her free time, Katie enjoys cardio drumming, reading, spending time with family and friends, raising money for causes like the Relay for Life, and crocheting.
