Swartz Creek Center Director
Rick Bastarache, PT, MSPT, DPT obtained his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Simmons College in Boston in 1995. He furthered his academic pursuits and achieved a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in 2005. Rick has spent his clinical career treating patients with orthopedic injury and impairment. Rick believes strongly in the ‘hands on” approach to physical therapy and has developed special skills in soft tissue mobilization and joint manipulation as well as focused, functional exercise techniques.
Whether it be lower back or neck pain; joint replacement/post operative conditions; muscle strain or musculoskeletal injury Rick has a technique to treat it. He is experienced in treating men and women from teens to the elderly. During the early stages of his career, he dedicated his efforts to working with veterans who had experienced limb loss, providing them with comprehensive rehabilitation and support.
In his spare time Rick enjoys weight training, running and biking and has finished several half-Ironman (70.3) Triathlons.
