Our clinic director, Nick Reder, and the staff at PPTS Armada Center will work together with you and your physician to create a therapy program based on your goals to optimize your recovery. Nick Reder PT, DPT earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Central Michigan University after completing his undergraduate studies at Ferris State University and Grand Valley State University. After finishing a clinical rotation with Plymouth Physical Therapy Specialists (PPTS), Nick chose to launch his physical therapy career with PPTS to follow his interest in outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine.
Nick’s clinical experiences include outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, inpatient acute-care, and cardiac rehabilitation. He is a current member of the Michigan Physical Therapy Association and American Physical Therapy Association, and promotes continuing education and evidence-based practice.
He is committed to taking continuing education courses to improve his knowledge base in a variety of areas. Nick is certified by The Running Clinic in diagnosing, treating, and preventing running injuries; one of the few health professionals with such designation in the area. He has also completed courses in pain and neurodynamics, diagnostic imaging interpretation, and kinesiotaping. Nick is a previous collegiate club athlete in multiple sports and uses his knowledge and experience of sport performance in his treatment and rehabilitation of sport related injuries. Further areas of interest include vestibular rehabilitation and concussion management.
